Al Gore – Didn’t You Notice The Zig Zags?

June 27, 2009

On his global warming lecture, Al Gore is displaying CO2 levels spanning 650 000 years. On the graph behind him, CO2 levels go up and down and backward and forward in time. In other words, there are occasionally two or more CO2 levels at the same time.

Al Gore, how is it possible? Didn’t you pay any attention to the massive screen behind you?

You can see the full video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jxi-OlkmxZ4 [the graph is at 7:30]

Some background for this post. I watched An Inconvenient Truth movie two years ago, and believed every word of it. After studying the issue more carefully, I was surprised: the movie has been proved to contain material which is misleading, incorrect and false. All in all, it is full of scaremongering without any science to back it up. Almost every segment of it.

Yet, governments are making large decisions based on false theories promoted by non-scientists who can not even produce a simple graph correctly. Yet, even Barack Obama – whom we all regard highly and is currently the man with the most power on this planet - is being misinformed and misled.

Al Gore says the science on man-made global warming is settled; there’s a consensus, scientists stand behind it. That’s an easy argument to validate. Just search the web to see whether it’s true. You will see how the whole house of cards begins to crumble.

Leg-lengthening in China for Better Career

April 8, 2007

Some Chinese people are really going to great lengths to aid their career.

A French documentary (by Hikari Productions) presented the surgical procedure of leg-lengthening in detail. The clients were young women trying to measure up to the specs of the boosting economy. Unbelievably, job ads occasionally have length requirements in China.

The Independent article covers the issue. It says that the procedure has been banned, but – contradicting itself – states:

“From now on, leg extensions may be carried out by hospitals that conduct at least 400 orthopaedic operations a year and offer post-surgery care and rehabilitation, and only on strictly medical grounds, the ministry said. ”

It is unbelievable that the doctors in China are using their expertise and time on this painful, cosmetic and unnecessary operation. It is unbelievable that the girls are doing this.

China, China, where are you going to?

North Korea – Open for Tourists in 2016?

November 15, 2006

It is interesting to see for how long North Korea is able to hold its current political system. I’ll bet that in ten years time, its borders will open. And Kim Jong-il will have a blog of his own.

The photo below is from Korean Friendship Association’s website. It was taken in Kaesong, in 2004.

The little girls in the photo look uncannily similar. I think there’s some kind of a selection process for them along the lines of: ”See this picture here. Now look at your child. As you can see they look the same. Be very happy. With her beautiful smile, she will become a worthy representative of this great country.”

Heck, I do not know really. I’m just speculating. Maybe they look like that in reality. It is in the water or something. Anybody visited North Korea lately? Please correct me on this one… ;)

[17.11.2006] What’s your opinion: do they look uncannily similar or should I clean my laptop screen?
